Marketing Manager – Gauteng

Our client, a reputable manufacturing company in the mining industry, is looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team!

Location: East Rand, Gauteng

Salary: Up to 900K p/a

The successful candidate will report to the CEO.

Minimum requirements;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing or related specialization
• At least 5 years’ work experience in marketing and selling technical products in a B2B segment
• Experience in tendering and negotiating contract terms
• Be able to frequently travel to Africa (mainly) for visits of upto two weeks at a time
• At least three years’ work experience in leading a sales or marketing team

The following would be advantageous;
• Experience in negotiating and managing performance-based contracts
• Experience in selling to the mining sector in Africa, especially SADC and West African countries
• A driven self starter

• Projects – Delivery on projects allocated to the Marketing Manager
