Our reputable client is looking for a Financial Executive to join their company.

Location: North Coast, KZN

Salary: Market related

Broad function:

The Financial Executive is charged with the major responsibility of managing the financial, IT, compliance and administrative functions and executing on all financial and IT responsibilities, including financial reporting and ensuring the smooth running of the day to day administrative functions.

The prime responsibility is to lead and direct all aspects of the finance, legal, IT and compliance departments. Liaison and management of auditing, legal, SARS, Banking, Government & Regulatory activity. Development of all financial strategic plans and budgets.

Competencies / Skills required:

Managing of Debtors Manager
Manage and monitor creditor payments
Manage and control wage payments
Assume full control and administration of salaried payrolls
Monitor the provident funds’ performance
Oversee and manage administration staff
Oversee and manage IT Department
Financial Management: Reporting, budgets, auditing, tax, vat, banking and cashbook
Financial and strategic planning: Plan annual finance budgets, plan annual cash flow requirements, and plan annual expenses and expenditure
Motivate and develop finance and admin staff: set goals and objectives, appraise and measure, motivate and develop
Auditing: Statutory audit and internal auditing
Tax & CIPC related matters: PAYE, Income tax, VAT and dividend with holding; Perform the function of Company Secretary
Imports / Banking / Legal / MCEP
Group reporting: Monthly GL reporting, monthly treasury reporting, monthly debtors aging, multi year reporting, lease reporting, IFRS Pack, strategic multi year planner, annual budget and bi-annual forecast
Compliance: Staff training and disclosure of incidences
